Interruption or Opportunity?
Much of what I do in my day-to-day is related to administration, oversight, coordination; in a word: tasks. Ultimately, I realize that the end result of my daily, weekly and monthly tasks affects people but I can tend to get very focused on the tasks and often times in my efforts to be efficient with things, I miss chances to be effective with people.
I’ve been reminded lately however, that tasks at the cost of relationships is a detriment to what I do.
